The alleged suicide of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee has been making news for the past few days. In the days after her death, many claiming to be Pratyusha’s friends have been making revelations about what the actress allegedly went through before she took the extreme step. Many have slammed these ‘friends’ as being hungry to be in the limelight, something that Kannada actor and Hindi TV star Kiran Srinivas also feels. This is what he had to say about the incident in a post on his social media page:
“have to share this, couldn’t hold back. A .To those who think their life is worthless, no one loves them or cares about them – please don’t think so. Each and every one of us are special and important. Life is difficult and unfair i agree. But so is giving up. Especially to the ones who are left behind with this huge void to fill for the rest of their lives (real friends and family) B. To all those super men and women who are so angry and fuming at this unfortunate event, that a PRESS MEET was called upon to. I would like to tell you all that you are all pathetic. Even parasites will have more empathy, dignity and respect. And please answer me this, if you all were such good friends with the deceased girl, then why on earth dint you come up and protect/complain against the abuse (physical) that she was going through. Some times even in front of you people?(as claimed) if this is true, i sincerely wish all of you to go to the darkest corner in your living space and hide your unworthy, opportunist heads in shame. Because if what you claim is true ( the physical abuse) then why on earth dint you bring this up/report it earlier? for this alone you all need to be held in a court of law. For not reporting Abuse C.To Media, please open your eyes and see the reality. The speed at which this profession operates, the ups and downs, the glitz and glamour infront of the camera and the dark hours behind it. All this needs to be brought up. Educate your readers about it. So that people who aspire to be something do not get succumbed to this high pressure profession and take the wrong step. And lastly, stop giving coverage to limelight hungry parasites.”
