Srinda bags a film with Nivin, yet again

It might be quiet tough for the Malayalis to forget Susheela in 1983 played by Srinda. Her innocent conversation with her husband Rameshan enacted byNivin Pauly about Sachin Tendulkar had cracked up many. Now after almost two years, the duo is all set to leave the audience in splits through Premam fame Althaf’s debut directorial, ‘Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela’.

Excited to work with Nivin again, the ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ actress says, “I play Mary, a simple girl in the family entertainer who is neither too traditional nor ultra-modern. It is going to be my second film with Nivin and all I can say is that the humour will be similar to that in 1983.” Though Srindaa has no liberty to divulge more about her role, she says Mary is that one character whom you can find in every family in Kerala. “Nivin told me about the film a few months ago. And when I heard the storyline, I instantly fell in love with my part. It would give me enough space to experiment and explore my acting skills,” she adds.
On the film, she says, “It is a family entertainer with enough suspense elements. Though the movie deals with a serious subject, it is narrated in a lighter vein,” she says. While model-turned-actress Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead, Ahaana Krishnakumar, Krishna Shankar, Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen are also part of the cast.
