Kabir Khan directed ’83 starring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev to release on April 5, 2019

The Ranveer Singh starred film based on India’s World Cup victory in 1983 titled ‘83’ finally got its release date. The biopic is based on the incredible victorious journey of the Indian cricket, as they lifted the coveted title after beating the West Indies at the Mecca of Cricket, the Lord’s. The film is expected to release on 5th April 2019. It has been learnt that Kabir Khan, the director of the film has only signed Ranveer Singh for the movie till now who will be playing the role of the charismatic leader Kapil Dev. The production teams announced the release date of the film via their Twitter handles.
