Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s relationship is more of friends than only being father and son. The duo always expresses their love, respect and affection towards each other through their social media pages or in the interviews.
As reported by Indian Express, during an interaction at the special screening of 102 Not Out, the Big B was asked about his equation with Abhishek Bachchan.
The Deewar actor said, “We both are friends. I had decided that the moment he starts borrowing my shoes, we would become friends. And that’s what we are. Now he borrows my clothes too.”
Recently, someone trolled Abhishek Bachchan on Twitter for staying with his parents. The troll tweeted, “Don’t feel bad about your life. Just remember @juniorbachchan still lives with his parents. Keep hustling everyone!” to which Abhishek replied, “Yes! And it’s the proudest moment for me to be able to be there for them, as they have for me. Try it sometime, you might feel better about yourself.”
When Amitabh Bachchan was asked about the remark made by the troll on his son, he answered, “It is a very Western concept that once the child becomes eighteen, they have to move out of their parents’ house. Whatever people say on social media, I don’t care. Abhishek will be with me till my last breath. This is the Indian culture and we should follow it.”
Meanwhile, Big B’s latest release 102 Not Out focuses on the father-son relationship, In the film, Amitabh plays the role of a father who is 102-year-old and Rishi Kapoor plays his 75-year-old son.
