PATNA: The COVID-19 lockdown seems to have come as the best time period for igniting literary as well as linguistic creativity also. And a Bihar-born Delhi based etymologist has utilised this opportunity arrived amid the lockdown and coined a word of English “Healthsake”.
It is Dr Birbal Jha, Â who has done with his linguistic pursuits and the world coined by him “Healthsake”has featured in the Collins English Dictionary online edition besides Urban Dictionary under crowd-sourcing during the lockdown with the world reeling under the pandemic COVID-19.
It is the same Jha from Bihar,who had organised for the first-time march christened as “Namaste-March” in Delhi with hundreds of English language and literature besides other academic streams in the wake of outbreak of coronavirus.
The Namaste March had hogged limelight in national and international media as a first of its kind bid to popularise the way of greeting saying’namaste’.
