Currently ruling the roost in Tollywood thanks to projects with all the big actors, actress Rakul Preet Singh is now looking to make a mark in Tamil as well.According to sources, Rakul has been approached to play the leading role in filmmaker Mysskin’s Tamil thriller “Thupparivaalan”, which stars Vishal Krishna.
“The makers were impressed with her performances in Bruce Lee and Nannaku Prematho and felt she would be ideal for the role. The actress, though, is yet to giver her nod and an update is expected in a week’s time,” said a source from the film’s unit.
Tipped to be an investigative thriller, the film marks the first time collaboration of Mysskin and Vishal.Rakul, whose last Tamil film was 2014 romantic-drama “Yennamo Yedho”, has established herself in Tollywood with films opposite leading stars like NTR Jr and Ram Charan. She currently awaits the release of Allu Arjun-starrer “Sarrainodu”.
