Shooting ‘Channa Mereya’ was a tough ‘exercise’ for Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma had a tough time shooting for the song, ‘Channa Mereya’, from Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. We hear, the bridal outfit she wore in the song weighed over 20 kilos. Since the song was picturised on the first floor of a palace with no elevators, Anushka had no option but to climb the stairs. Seems, she ended up taking the stairs at least 25-30 times a day, over the four days that it took to shoot the song that also features Ranbir Kapoor. Well, after climbing the stairs so many times wearing a 20-kg outfit, we are sure Anushka didn’t feel the need to hit the gym for a few days.
