There comes a moment in every parent’s life when he or she realises that the child has outdone them. It seems for Shah Rukh Khan, that came quite early vis-à-vis son AbRam. The youngster was performing at the annual day function of his school and the entire Khan family – daddy Shah Rukh, mum Gauri, elder brother Aryan and sister Suhana – were among the audience to cheer him on.
But, the choice of song on which AbRam finally performed must have come as a surprise. Dressed as a star – which the 4-year-old happens to be despite his tender age – AbRam danced to Swadesh song Ye Taara Wo Taara. The film is among SRK’s most appreciated films and the actor was seen dancing with a bunch of children in this song. AbRam and his classmates, we have to say, were even better.
Other than Shah Rukh and his family, the event was also attended by Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan who were there to cheer on daughter Aaradhya who was also performing, tennis star Leander Paes, and Hrithik Roshan with ex-wife Sussanne Khan.
Shah Rukh later wrote on Instagram: “Spectacular DAIS Annual Day. God Bless you Nita Ambani for loving the kids. Made me nostalgic when to act was not important just trying was.”
Earlier Shah Rukh had dismissed reports that AbRam was born for stardom, “More than stardom I believe he is born for Lovedom! So fortunate to get such love from so many, he is blessed.”
