Amitabh Bachchan recently tested negative for COVID-19 and returned home. In the wake of his safe return, popular Indian milk brand, Amul featured Big B in a doodle ad campaign. The veteran actor took to his Instagram account and thanked the brand, for thinking about him throughout his Coronavirus-related hospitalisation. He also slammed a troll for claiming Big B was paid for it.
The doodle shows Amul girl clinging on to Amitabh who is sitting on a chair. Big B can be seen wearing his trademark kurta churidar, with a shawl over his shoulder. He has a mobile in his hand and is flashing a ‘thumbs up’ sign with butter on it. The picture read, “AB beats C.”
Amitabh took to his Instagram account and wrote, “Thank you Amul for continuously thinking of me in your unique poster campaigns … varshon se Amul ne sammanit kiya hai mujhe ek sadharan shakshiyat ko amulya banaa diya mujhe (For years, Amul has given me respect and made an ordinary person like me priceless).”
