India is the second largest mobile market in the world, that is why you can see lots of smartphone companies here. However, the country’s own telecom company Reliance Jio has targeted the feature phone market in India differently via JioPhone and JioPhone 2. Jio already has a market share in feature phones, and a new report is pointing out that the company can launch a new smartphone. This smartphone can be launched during the AGM in July.
Talk of the BeetelBite News website, a Jio official said that the company could launch an Android-based smartphone during the AGM in July this year. This report also provides information that this smartphone will have a 5-inch touchscreen display and it will run on Android Oreo (Go Edition). Plus this smartphone will be more expensive than JioPhone 2 and will cost around $ 63 (about Rs 4,500).
At present, Jio’s new smartphone chipset is not included, but it can be given 2GB RAM and 64GB of storage. Also, support for memory cards can be given here too. According to the information received, a 5 megapixel rear camera for photography and a 2 megapixel camera can be given for the selfie in front.
If JioPhone 3 launches, then it will compete with the Android Go Based Samsung Galaxy J2 Core (Go Edition) and the soon-to-be launched Redmi Go smartphone in India.
