New Mahindra TUV300 Plus Patent Images Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Mahindra is expected to launch a slew of updated models starting with the Thar from next month. The company will also be updating its TUV300 line-up to comply with the latest emission standards. Ahead of its launch, patent images of the upcoming SUV have been leaked revealing a couple of new changes.

Other design changes include new headlamps with integrated DRLs placed on top, reworked bumper, and the fog lamps housing. It is also expected to feature redesigned tail-lamps, rear bumpers and minor changes to the boot lid.

New dual-tone alloy wheels could also make its way to the facelifted SUV. However, the boxy silhouette of the SUV is expected to remain unchanged on the new model. The TUV300 Plus will be sharing its platform with the 2020 Mahindra Thar and the next-generation Scorpio as well.

The biggest change on the new TUV300 Plus will be the new BS-VI compliant engine. The TUV300 Plus BS4 models were powered by the 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 120bhp of power and 280Nm of torque. We expect Mahindra to retain the same engine and add a petrol option as seen on the all-new Thar.

The TUV300 line-up has been there since 2015 and is yet to receive any major design changes from the company. Mahindra is looking to change that with the launch of the new-gen TUV300 line-up with a fresh design.
