New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 4 pm on Tuesday. The prime minister’s address will be his fifth to the nation since March 19.
The address comes a day after the Ministry of Home Affairs announced guidelines for Unlock 2.0 – the second phase of Centre’s lockdown exit plan. Not many changes have been made in the guidelines as compared to the Unlock 1.0, except the night curfew timings which have been changed to 10 pm-5 am now.
The prime minister’s address also comes after the violent face-off between the Indian and Chinese soldiers at Galwan valley, which led to martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers.
In his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ speech on Sunday, PM Modi had said that India has given a befitting reply to those who cast an evil eye on its territory in Ladakh, stating that while the country honours the spirit of friendship, it is also capable of giving an appropriate response to any adversary.
