Ever since the release of Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the film has dominated the box-office and has managed to do so in the second week too. According to a recent report on Boxofficeindia.com, the film has raked in another Rs 7.5 crore on Day 12 in spite of many places being closed in Maharashtra due to protests, taking its total collection to nearly Rs 280.04 crore.
If the box-office domination continues, then ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ may even surpass the business of ‘Sultan’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ of Rs 301 crore and Rs 316 crore respectively.
The film is inspired by the real-life incident of the rescue of Indian nurses held hostage in Iraq by terrorists and at the helm of affairs of the mission is Indian RAW agent Tiger (Salman Khan) and the flick also has Katrina performing some breath-taking stunts. This Ali Abbas Zafar film is a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which released in 2012.
